Top 10 Christian Streaming Providers in 2022

Unbounded’s Top 10 list of Christian Streaming Platforms.

Amidst a seemingly endless global pandemic, many of us have found relief indoors by retreating to the comforts of online streaming services for our news and entertainment. The last few years, unfortunately, have provided a never-ending supply of negative media & content that can sometimes be difficult to navigate.

During these uncertain times, it is important for us to take a step away from negative stimuli and instead nurture ourselves with positive content that feeds our mind and soul. Not just for ourselves, but also for our families.

While major streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon have Christian movies, you unfortunately, have to scroll through multiple layers of suggestive thumbnails, before finding the right movie or TV show to watch.

I recall an instance when I was scrolling through Hulu for a family-friendly show to watch with my wife and kids during dinner. I was unfortunately greeted by a thumbnail from American Horror Story as soon as the app opened.

The image was of an alien and a vampire kissing with a bullet wrapped around their tongues. Not family-friendly. I had never seen the show before, so I figured it had to be a paid marketing ad to get more viewers to watch the show or just a mistake. Nevertheless, it was still so disturbing that my then 7-year-old jumped up in shock and yelled “Daddy turn that off”! It took us several attempts of voting the show downward for it to finally be removed from our show catalog and recommendation list.

Things like this make it difficult for Christian parents to search for family-friendly Christian content and it risks the chance of exposing our children to unsuitable material.

Fortunately, there are several Christian TV streaming services that filter out inappropriate content and give believers a safe and more family-oriented viewing experience.

We have researched and tested multiple Christian streaming platforms to identify those that have faith-based family-friendly content for Christian families.
